The Broker - The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It means the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker this new, that coverage is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and web trading. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Access to both matters. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is apparently on the roadmap. That would round things out once it is live.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. This broker requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.
Execution Speed
This is where this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals something about priorities.
Combine that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that works is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade offers bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
